Milk also contains protein. Long, leafy vegetables will provide a protective film over your teeth and contain vitamins and minerals your teeth need. You can never go wrong with fruits and vegetables, especially the “crunchy” kind. These have a high water and fiber content which is good for your body and mouth, and their texture can help to clean your teeth. Eating these fruits and vegetables will also stimulate the production of saliva, which is an important component of oral health. Your body and your teeth need protein to stay healthy. The best tooth-friendly protein sources are meat, fish, poultry and eggs.

A healthy diet is an important part of keeping your mouth healthy, but it is not the only part.
